Hey Hey!

I’m Micah Neese.  I am a therapist here at New Neese on Life and as the name suggests…you guessed it…I own the practice.I started New Neese on Life, NNOL for short, for the same reason I became a therapist : I want to help people access hope, healing, and intention.  I am a firm believer that it’s never too late for a breakthrough and if you need one, I want to help you break through that wall like the Kool Aide Man on a hot summer day…IYKYK. 🙂

My clinical specialities include ADHD and Inner Child/ Shadow Work/ Reparenting work.  I am a strong voice for my ADHD community and am involved in the advocacy of updating antiquated diagnosis and treatment models.  I use both traditional and non traditional modalities in my sessions.
Other things you should know about me while therapist shopping are: I curse a little 🙂 , I am obsessed with my dog, and I am into “the woo woo” so if you want to talk to me about your birth chart or chakras, I can get down with that.
I am an ally to the marginalized and misunderstood, and I am not the right therapist for anyone who is not.

Working with Micah has been life-changing for me. Her approach to understanding and navigating ADHD as an adult is nothing short of revolutionary. Her empathy and expertise shone through every session, making me feel truly seen and understood.

I’ve always struggled to find a therapist who really ‘gets’ me, but from the first session, I knew I was in the right place. Micah’s humor, coupled with profound insights, made our sessions not only enlightening but also enjoyable. She’s helped me break cycles I thought were unbreakable.

As someone who’s felt misunderstood for the longest time, finding a therapist who could not only see me but help me see myself has been a blessing. Micah’s methods, both traditional and non-traditional, have guided me towards a path of self-discovery and healing.

I appreciate Micah’s direct and honest approach in therapy. It’s refreshing to work with someone who doesn’t just nod and agree but challenges you to confront and change deeply ingrained patterns. She’s been instrumental in my journey towards self-awareness and growth.

Micah’s unique blend of humor, skill, and perceptiveness made therapy an experience I actually looked forward to. She’s been more than a therapist; she’s been a coach, guiding me through difficult transformations with understanding and effective strategies.
